Denmark’s Minister of Defence visits Moldova and announces defence cooperation
During the visit, the Denmark’s Minister of Defence announced a EUR 7 million programme between Denmark and Moldova. The programme will focus on strengthening Moldova’s defence capacities and include training simulation equipment, a defence attaché, cyber security support, and information systems.
During the press conference, the minister said: “Denmark will focus on strengthening the resilience of the Republic of Moldova, reinforcing the defence sector, and doing so through deeper cooperation. Because together we are stronger, and we must work based on solidarity, shared values, and mutual respect, in order to ensure peace and security”
Denmark’s Minister of Defence Troels Lund Poulsen also met Prime Minister, Dorin Recean to discuss the bilateral cooperation.
