Greetings from the ambassador
Ambassador Søren Jensen is the first resident ambassador of Denmark to the Republic of Moldova.
Ambassador Jensen has a long career in the Foreign Service with experience in both bilateral and multilateral affairs, European relations, security policy and more. His postings include Prague, EU-Brussels and Washington DC. From 2018-22 he was Denmark’s ambassador to Romania, also accredited to the Republic of Moldova.
“I always enjoyed my visits to Moldova, and I am thrilled to be back” says ambassador Jensen. “With the prospect of EU membership on the horizon and with a war of aggression raging nearby, this is the time to help make a difference for the future of Moldova. I very much look forward to this endeavor.”
